Joy In Suffering
The life of faith is trusting that your trials lead to His glory. That there's joy and strength in choosing Gods will over your own selfish ambitions and aspirations. It's small and easy at first, but as the decisions get tougher, the joy and strength become more abundant. We won't instantly just be as perfect as Christ in the twinkling of an eye, but by resolving to be dedicated to do everything on our hearts we know we should do to please Him, we are abiding in Christ and walking in the spirit.
"Dear Lord father God in heaven,
today I buckle down and rededicate myself to fulfilling your call of obedience in me and resolve to walk in your spirit. I am a sinner, but by your Grace you call the things that are not, as if they are. You say that to those that know what is good and pure, and do not do it, to them it is sin. And although I have no power of myself to drop my habitual practice of unrighteousness, I call upon you to convict and empower me to stretch in new heights at pleasing You. Let my meditations with You be pleasing in Your sight Oh Lord, humble me and remind me of my unworthiness in my flesh and in my own desires, and drive me to embrace your will and not my own. In The Mighty and All powerful Authoritive name of Christ Jesus I pray.. .. amen
